About

Laura Kaderabek Eyring graduated from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in 1987.  She received her Bachelor's degree in Fine Art from the University of Pennsylvania in 1990, cum laude.  From 1990 to 1998 she showed her work at the Artforms Gallery in Philadelphia and participated in numerous group shows, cafes, and community art festivals while struggling to earn a living.  In 1998 Laura took a hiatus from waitressing to pursue a more practical vocation.  She received a chemistry degree from Drexel University in 2001.  She now works as an analytical chemist and paints early in the morning, while her husband and two teenagers are asleep.  She is represented by Cerulean Arts gallery in Philadelphia. Laura's first Children's book, Freeing the Birds, is available through Morning Circle Media at Morningcirclemedia.com.  A Lens for the Lighthouse is available through Amazon.
